I didn't go through Visionscapes for my pool install, my mistake, and I had a mini crisis because the pool guy didn't explain a certain requirement. From the on-set, Shawn and the VisionScapes Team were true professionals. From problem solving functional (drainage and grading) issues to aesthetic design challenges (stone materials, turf and plantings) they made us comfortable with their approach and most importantly with the amazing results! In a world where finding reputable contractors can be challenging, VisionScapes did what they said what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Shawn Anderson personally managed the construction of our new brick walkway. His crew was terrific! See for yourself how nice it turned out. We didn't want pavers that ultimately have weeds, but rather an old-fashioned mortared brick walkway. They poured a concrete base and laid the brick on top to prevent shifting over time. It is 5' wide, allowing 2 people and/or a wheelchair to traverse. Soon it will look like it was original to this house. Thank you Visionscapes.

Shawn (the owner) and his team were professional and focused on meeting my needs from day one. Even in this hyper busy time for home-improvement firms, VisionScapes was most interested in doing what was best for me. I had a number of backyard improvements designed and completed, including arbor paving replacement, a new firepit circle, and several other walking path enhancements. All of these features beautifully tied the entire backyard together and added bit of refinement. Post installation, the staff returned a few days later and finished up several finishing touches. Very well done, and I will partner with them again!

I neglected to leave a review on the great work done in my yard last summer. The new walkway is beautiful and durable and will last forever. The stone border around the house has added to curb appeal. And the awesome retaining wall and beautification of a drain in our back yard is my favorite. All appointments kept and crew were nice, considerate, and very hard workers. Will definitely use again if I have more to be done in future.

David came out and gave me The design that I was looking for and what I feel was a reasonable price. When they came out to do the work they did exactly what they said they would do and they did it on time and cleaned up! I’m in the construction business and the way I judge people on the work that they do for me is how much work I have to do when they finish to make it the way that I want it. Needless to say I didn’t have to do any work. I highly recommend this company.

Shawn from Visionscapes created a fantastic design for our backyard space and delivered 100%! We had no idea what we wanted the space to look like at the start, Shawn listened and came back with ideas that were spot on...pool, pool house with pavers and landscaping. UPDATE 7/22/20 - My original review on engaging Visionscapes was not good and I gave them a low rating on engagement as I had not gotten to design or installation after multiple weeks. The owner of the company reached out to me directly and assured me the issues experienced were not normal for his company and that it is very important to him all of his customers are happy with his team whether large or small jobs. The design for our garden was very creative and added in things we hadn't thought of. We finalized the design quickly and he made up for lost time on engagement ensuring our garden was immediately installed. This was the level of service I was hoping for in reading other reviews and his company certainly made up for the initial problems that occurred. I would definitely recommend them and we will be engaging them again for our next project. Our garden looks great!!

Shawn Anderson and crew transformed my yard from very boring to very amazing... A full-service landscape architect firm, Visionscapes did all the planning and documentation required by the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Board. My siblings and I have used VisionScapes Land Design for over 12 years. i first hired them to fix a drainage problem at my home in Virginia Beach. Then a little while later i used them to improve the look of our yard. the VisionScapes designs and final product at my homes and my business have been fabulous. This year we just had one project completed in our back yard at our home and we were extrememly pleased with the construction, and the final product. We had major drainage issues that they were able to fix, and they enlarged our grass area by over 50%. it was a real significant improvement for the back yard and the kids have a great area to play now. My wife was stunned when she saw the finished yard. So, we are very happy customers of their work and professionalism. Shawn Anderson and his team do a great job and i would highly encourage using them.
